Monday
Chocolate and Caramelised Banana Porridge

We’ve started simple, offering up a recipe for our Chocolate Porridge topped with caramelised banana for a perfectly sweet start to the day.

1 portion

Ingredients:

  • 70g FUEL10K Chocolate Porridge (prepared)
  • 1 banana, halved
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp yoghurt
  • Sprinkle of pumpkin seeds
  • Sprinkle of cacao nibs

Method:

Begin by caramelising the banana. To do this warm a frying pan over medium heat and add the butter. While it reaches temperature, coat the banana halves with a little sugar before popping into the pan. Cook each side for around two minutes, or until brown and sticky. Set aside.

Prepare our Chocolate Porridge by mixing with boiling water until it’s at desired consistency and leaving to cool for two minutes. Then pour into a bowl. Top with your caramelised banana and Greek yoghurt before sprinkling over pumpkin seeds and cacao nibs to finish. Make sure you get some of everything in each tasty bite!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Energy Balls

This is the perfect recipe to make ahead of time so that you have the perfect snack whenever hunger hits. You can store them in an airtight container for up to a week in the fridge, if you can resist eating them all before then.

12 portions

Ingredients:

  • 150g FUEL10K Chocolate Porridge (unprepared)
  • 25g ground flaxseeds
  • 20g chia seeds
  • 55g FUEL10K Chocolate Peanut Butter
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 20g hazelnuts, finely chopped

Method:

Measure 70g of our Chocolate Porridge and pour into a large mixing bowl and then add the remaining dry ingredients.

Next, mix our Chocolate Peanut Butter with vanilla extract, before adding to your bowl. Once everything is combined, pop the oat mixture into the fridge to cool for 20 minutes. This makes it easier to shape into balls.

Once chilled, split into 12 and roll into circles! The best part? They’ll be ready to eat straight away. You can always dunk them in a little extra Chocolate Peanut Butter, no one will judge...
