FUEL10K and FareShare Partnership Result

We want to thank everyone who took part in our FareShare campaign. With your help we’re able to donate 314,992 portions of porridge to those in need. Over the coming weeks and months, we’ll be sending the porridge to those most in need through FareShare’s food redistribution network.  

With 8.4 million people in the UK struggling to access nutritious food and drink, we are fortunate to be in a position to help. Jason Kerr, Co-Founder of FUEL10K, went to the factory where the porridge was produced to check up on the bags of porridge and update us on the donations. 100,000 portions have already been produced and distributed, with the remaining number set to be produced over the next few weeks. He explains 'this collaboration with Fareshare means so much to the entire FUEL10K family and we're delighted to be working so closely with them.’. 

What does FareShare do?

FareShare is the UK's charitable food redistribution network. They take nutritious, in-date, surplus food and redistribute it amongst nearly 11,000 different charities and groups. Nearly 1 million people each week are supported by FareShare. We aim to donate over 500,000 meals to those in need by the end of the campaign, distributed through the charity FareShare. This means that more than 10 tonnes of FUEL10K porridge will be donated to support the many frontline charities and community groups that Fareshare work with.
