Thanks to you, last year we absolutely smashed our goal of donating 500,000 porridge portions to FareShare. This year, we’re on a mission to match this.

Who are FareShare?

FareShare redistribute quality surplus food to nearly 9,500 frontline charities and community groups.  They’re the UK’s national network of charitable food redistributors, made up on 18 independent organisations. Since 1994, FareShare have donated 55,046 tonnes of food (131.9 million meals!) to charities, that turn them into meals for vulnerable people.

14 million people living in the UK are struggling to get enough to eat, many of whom are living in severely food insecure homes. This means their food intake is greatly reduced and children often experience the physical sensations of hunger. The cost of living crisis has caused these issues to dramatically rise.

Through a combination of on-shelf promotions, supermarket listings, online retailers and convenience stores, we’re on a mission to sell half a million Protein Boosted Porridge Pots in one month alone. We’ll match this figure in porridge portions, donating 500,000 meals to many of the community groups that FareShare work with.

So how will it all work?

Well, it’s pretty simple really! Every time you treat yourself to one of our porridge pots, we’ll donate a portion of porridge to this incredible cause.*

By purchasing a FUEL10K porridge pot in the month of February, consumers can help in the fight against hunger and food waste. For every pot bought, FUEL10K will donate one portion of porridge to FareShare. 

FUEL10K’s porridge pot range is now available in five delicious flavours; Chocolate, Super Berry, Golden Syrup, Salted Caramel, and Apple & Cinnamon.   

Full Ts&Cs:
*From 1st February 2023 until 28th February 2023 FUEL10K have committed to donating a portion (50 grams) of porridge to FareShare (Charity Number: 1100051) for every qualifying Porridge Pot (70 grams) sold in specified stores. FUEL10K have confirmed a minimum donation of 200,000 portions of porridge to FareShare, the final donation amount will be based on the total number of porridge pots sold during the Promotional Period. This includes, but is not limited to; ASDA, Tesco, Ocado, Amazon, Morrisons and Co-op. FUEL10K will distribute the porridge to FareShare from 1st February 2023 and will continue to distribute the porridge until they have given the same number of portions bought between 1st February – 28th February 2023.
